Mr. Bobby Gene Williams Jr., age 74, Jonesborough, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Williams was born May 6, 1952, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to Bobby G. Williams, of Johnson City and the late Betty Mauk Williams. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Mauk.

Gene was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. After his military service he worked at Williams Electric Supply.

He was of the Methodist faith.

His hobbies included scuba diving and golf. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, they were all special to him.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Williams; son, Wes Williams (Amanda); daughter, Candace McNabb (Shawn); father, Bob Williams; grandchildren, Charlotte Williams, Emmett McNabb, Emma Williams, Amelia McNabb, and Ezra McNabb; brother, Charles Williams (Kathy); aunts, Linda Gray, Brenda Shultz, Darnell Maas, Glenda Ayres, Oleta Presley, Sandra Mauk; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Zirkle officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
