Mrs. Fran Massey Jaynes, age 80, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 23, 1945, in Somerset, Kentucky, to the late Evertt and Aline Taylor Massey.

Fran lived a life defined by kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Together with her beloved husband of 55 years, Bob, she opened her heart and home to countless children as a devoted foster parent, leaving a lasting impact on every life she touched.

Her spirit of service extended far beyond her family. Fran served her community with dedication through many roles - as the coordinator for Meals on Wheels, where she ensured neighbors were cared for with dignity and love; through her work with Head Start, supporting young children and families; and at the local Senior Center, where her warmth and generosity brightened every room.

Fran was a loving wife, mother, and “Mamaw,” whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She loved cooking, being outdoors, gardening and especially cherished every moment with her great-grandson, Noah, whose laughter and energy brought her endless joy. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and good family time.

In addition to her parents, Fran was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Massey.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bobby R. Jaynes; son, Shawn Jaynes and wife Loretta; granddaughters, Shawna Jaynes and husband, Spencer and Great Grandson, Noah and Rebecca Kimberly Tipton and husband Corey (Opie); sister, Paula Ann Coulston and husband, Bob; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Fran will be remembered for her gentle heart, her joyful spirit, and the countless lives she touched with love!
