She will be remembered most for her selfless giving and kindness. Her grandchildren will forever cherish summers spent with her.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to her caregivers: Rita Garst, Kim Storey, Lena Tittle, SOFHA home health nurse Beth Smith and Amedisys Hospice. Special thanks to Christine Johnson for her loving care and compassion.

Kathy, Your mom was such a fun loving person - always laughing. I knew her many years beginning in school at Lamar. She, your dad, Jack and Betty Carey, Sam and I used to get together at each others homes quite often for a meal and an evening of talk and laughter. Sorry I could not attend any of the functions, but I do not drive anymore. Sympath to you and the family on her passing.
Cathy and Richard I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Betty Ann . She was so sweet to me when I first met her and she was such a beautiful person. I know she will be missed. Now her and James can tell stories together. Sending my love!

Kathy, Gary and I have you and Richard in our thoughts and prayers. Your mother was always so sweet and kind to be around. All I had to say was I was Rick Broyles's sister, and she would remember who I was. Remember that memories are forever.

Dear Kathy and Family, We are so sorry for your loss. My Dad, James Kyker went to Lamar High School with Ms. Betty and thought so much of her and mentioned her many times. They grew up when life was hard. I guess they all liked going to the old rock store for their Saturday night treats, as Daddy would tell it. Good neighbors are like brothers and sisters! Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. May you all have the peace that passes all understanding from Jesus. Love and Prayers, Sandra and David Holt.
