Ms. Margaret Darlene Tate, age 58, of Erwin, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at her home.
She was born on August 20, 1966, to the late Oliver and Ethel Robinette Byrd, in Johnson City, Tennessee.
Margaret was a homemaker and loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She adored her children and her grandchildren. Margaret was a loving person who would help anybody at any time, no matter the circumstances.
In addition to her parents, Oliver and Ethel, Margaret is preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Byrd and Russell Byrd, and brother-in-law, Travis Holloway.
She is survived by her children, Brandy Glass (Jason) and Paul Green (Krissy); grandchildren, Cody, Christopher, Jason, Tasha, Orien, and Colin; great-grandbaby, Jasper; sister, Gail Holloway; brothers, Terry Byrd (Jeannie), Ronnie Byrd (Sandra), and Richard Byrd; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Unicoi Church of God (508 Tennessee Street, Unicoi, TN 37692) with Pastor Blazer officiating.
