Mr. James Garfield Kiser, age 74, Johnson City, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Kiser was born November 17, 1950, in Russell County, Virginia, to the late James Kiser, Sr. & Viola Puckett Kiser. He was also preceded in death by sisters, Mildred Puckett, Shirley Bryant, Madeline Epperson and Anna Lee Mermon.

He was self-employed in the construction industry.

Survivors include a daughter, Brandy Kiser Wilson; brothers, Tom Kiser (Diana), Campbell Kiser (Ella), Gaines Dotson and Fred Dotson; sister, Betty Dotson; nine grandchildren including a special grandson, Michael Moffitt; ten great-grandchildren; special niece, Sherry Kiser along with several nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2025, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Mr. Campbell Kiser officiating.
