
Mrs. Dixie Henley Patton, age 93, Limestone, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025, at her residence.
Mrs. Patton was born on November 14, 1931, in Washington County, Tennessee to the late Cecil Wayne & Alma Hawk Henley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon K. Patton, sister, Martha Quinn and brother-in-law, Tommy Quinn.
She was a member of Ashbury United Methodist Church and attended New Salem Baptist Church, where she loved to sing in the choir.
Dixie retired from Magnavox. She loved to Trout fish.
Survivors include a daughter, Shelley Johnson and husband Bill, Limestone; son, Keith Patton, Limestone; nephew, Cecil Quinn and wife Celesta; niece, Debbie Tibble and husband Bob; and several great and great-great nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Asbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Jackie McGowan and Pastor Craig Ponder officiating. Music will be provided by Doug Harris. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Asbury Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Cecil Quinn, Ronnie Snapp, Doug Fox, Sammy Henley, Tony Henley, and Tim Humphrey.
