Mr. Howard Woodward, beloved father and grandfather, age 87, of Jonesborough, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024. He was born on September 1, 1936.
Howard was a member of New Victory Baptist Church. He will be remembered as a life long farmer, an avid horseman, a loving father, grandfather, and husband. Howard spent many years at Robinson Farms and later worked at Burton Rubber.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Earl; daughter, Debi and beloved wife, Carolyn.
Survivors include his sons, Bill and Jim Woodward; grandchildren, Eden “Susie” Montgomery and Cody Woodward (Hannah); sister, Wanda Stewart; his faithful four-legged companion, Milo.
Friends may come by Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 12:00, Noon to 3:00 PM, to view and sign the register. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 20, 2024, at New Victory Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Jeremy Dykes officiating.
