Mrs. Martha Jane Briggs, age 71, Jonesborough, passed away, Friday, August 28, 2020 at her residence.
Mrs. Briggs was born in Johnson City and the daughter of the late Hayden & Edna Coffman Hall. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jon, brother, Ricky Hall and a sister, Ann Tipton.
Survivors include a son, Douglas Clinton Briggs, Jonesborough; granddaughter, Maddison Olivia Briggs; sisters, Mary West (F.B.) and Judy Story (Paris); brother, John Hall (Judy); sister-in-law, Brenda Hall; brother-in-law, Carl Tipton; and several cousins, nephews and nieces.
Jane, you will be missed dearly mom. Your soul has always been one that I looked up to. Your laugh was contagious as well as your genuine generosity. I will always love you and think of you often still. Thank you Jane for always being there for me when I needed it the most! RIP AND may you find rest in the Lord’s arms.
