Mrs. Peggy Lee Smith Wilson, age 74, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Charlie & Pauline Tipton Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Charles Wilson, daughter, Angela Michelle Wilson and a sister, Brenda Cook.
Survivors include one son, Charles Gregory Wilson; daughters, Pam Laws and Sonya Arnold; grandsons, Shane Wilson and Keith Arnold; granddaughters, Bethany Laws and Christy Gilbert; brothers, Jim Smith, Ernest Smith, Dave Smith and Danny Smith; special friend, Joyce Smith; and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, May 27, 2016 at Cherokee Community Independent Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor David Montgomery officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Friday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Cherry Grove-Keplinger Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
