Mr. Robert Lee Whitaker, age 76, Afton, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Whitaker was born in Washington County and son of the late Dennis Ray & Viola Talton Whitaker. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Whitaker and Kenneth Whitaker.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Whitaker was a Millwright.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Rhymer Whitaker, Afton; daughter and son-in-law, Anita & Barry Owens, Madisonville, KY; grandchildren, Robert Owens, Joshua Owens, and Danielle Owens; brother, Gary Whitaker, Sulphur Springs.
