Mr. Glenn Allen Porter, age 61, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN.
Mr. Porter was a native of Clarksdale, Mississippi, son of the late Floyd Emory and Jane Oliver Porter.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Jane Wright Porter; two sons, Shane Allen Porter and wife, Crystal; Donnie Byford and wife Denise; daughter, Nicole Byford; grandchildren, Taylor Byford, Tiffany Byford, Alexis Byford, Cody Porter, Derik Wilson, McKenzie Ingle; and one brother, David Porter.
It was Mr. Porter’s wishes his body be donated to the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, TN.
