Cynthia “Cindi” Sue Wilson, passed away on June 17, 2026, at Brookdale Assisted Living.
Cindi was known by many for being active in her church at Central Baptist in Johnson City. She was a very loving, caring, and generous woman. She enjoyed baking, gardening, traveling, sewing, and writing poems. Her greatest joy came by giving to others. Her faith in God was unmatched and she shared The Word of God with many.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, William “Bill” Smallman; second husband, Doug Wilson; her courageous son, SFC Seth Alan Smallman; and her beautiful daughter, Lisa Marie Heaton.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Blackwell; grandson, Michael Feathers; granddaughter, Morgan Smallman; great-granddaughters, Aaliyah Ryan and Aspen Armstead.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Brookdale Assisted Living staff and Gentiva Hospice for the care given to Cindi.
It is with great sadness to learn of Cindi's passing! I have passed her former home almost daily for years! I had often wanted to go for a visit with her after learning she had gone to a special care facility! So sad I never had the opportunity! Her kindness and friendship will always be remembered! May she RIP with her loved ones!
