Mr. Johnnie E. Willis, age 85, of the Harmony Community, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Willis was born on October 26, 1940, in Fall Branch, Tennessee, to the late Robert & Julia Bales Willis. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Irene Haren, James Willis, Ray Willis and Glenn Willis.

He attended Oak Hill Baptist Church and Valley View Methodist Church.

Mr. Willis was a member of the US Army Reserve. He was a Manager for AGC Glass Company for 42 years.

He loved golf and was proud of his family.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Carolyn Ford Willis, Jonesborough; two sons, Johnnie Willis, Jr. (Michael Green), Charlotte, NC and Doug Willis (Melissa), Jonesborough; grandchildren, Austin Willis (Katie), and Kendal Willis; great-grandchild, Olivia Willis; and several nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Sulphur Springs Cemetery with Rev. Steve Pate officiating.
