A lifetime of memories....truly our lifetime. Every church service, every school activity, church parties, trips, going home with each other, neighborhood friends, Bible school, class trips and picnics, friends who were like family, and family like friends. Laughter, tears, shared confidences, courtships, weddings, and then distance separating. How you, Barbara, Connie, Robert, Phyllis, Judy Tipton, Erwin, and others memorized Bible scripture for years, Daily. Then, competition and winning the National Bible Bowl championship in Oklahoma. The studying required, the swiftness, the memory work took great dedication and tenacity. I remember your Daddy well, and how he kept the church so nice. I remember his passing, how it affected all of you and how you were Daddy's girls. Barbara, like all sisters do, we fought with our siblings, then played just as hard. Your losses have been so great recently. Time and distance didn't diminish your love of home in Limestone. I still remember your house sitting beside the church. Jenny. RICKY, JEAN, BUTCH, Debbie, Janie, and so many more on that street shaped our future and growth. The recent losses took our breath. Yet. We shared so many memories at our little reunions and trips. We were family. My heart is so broken for her years of ill health , but full of gratitude for having known and loved the Austin family. Family, May God guide you with the peace that passes all understanding. Until we meet again, thank you for being a light. Thanks, Barbara, Brenda, Mike, Charlotte, Onnie for the memories.

For some reason ever since I heard the news Brenda passed i have had the memory of sitting around the table with Mike, Brenda, Mickey, Matt, and Marty. We were all raising a glass of sparkling grape juice toasting Mike and Brenda's wedding anniversary. I think I cant get this memory out of my head because it reminds me of what a strong, happy, loving family they have always been. A family that i have been lucky to call my friends for just about my entire life who alays welcomed me into their home. I will miss Brenda's warmth and kindness. She was a second mother to me.

Mike and family sorry for your loss. I've known Brenda for many years. We went to the old Limestone Baptist Church together growing up. She was a very sweet Lady. Hopefully Mike you remember me. Love and prayers for the family.
