Mrs. Wanda Rice, age 63, Limestone, passed away Monday, January 22, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Rice was born August 27, 1960, in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late Junior Milburn & Eula Jean Davenport Hunt. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert William Rice, a brother, Fred B. Hunt, and a special uncle & aunt, Harmon Ed & Allie Davenport.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel Rice, Limestone; son, Michael Raymond Rice; sister, Louann Baines; several cousins; special friend, Jean Arrington; mother-in-law, Patsy Rice; brother-in-law, Mark Rice; and her dog, "Lydia".

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Hansen & staff at Johnson City Internal Medicine and the Johnson City Medical Center staff for their wonderful care given to Wanda.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
