Ms. Sharon Marie Smith, age 55, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 18, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Sharon was born on October 14, 1968, to Jimmy Donald Casey and the late Barbara Arnett Casey.

She was a dietary cook for John Reed Nursing Home and most recently Governor’s Bend in Erwin, Tennessee. Sharon loved horses and listening to Elvis’ music.

In addition to her mother, Barbara, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Smith and grandson, Noah Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Heather Benton (Thomas) and Nathan Smith; fiancé of 23 years, Jeff Broyles; stepson, Jeffrey Broyles; grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexis and Aliza Benton, Aden and Jaden Smith, Wyatt, Haven, and Corbin Broyles; sister, Tina Hoilman; brothers, Bobby Casey, and Jimmy Casey; several nieces, nephews and 3 great nieces.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Orchard officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, prior to the services. A Graveside Service will follow the service at New Salem Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Smith, Thomas Benton, Michael Riddle, Bobby Casey, Jimmy Casey, and Jeffrey Broyles. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Casey, Kemsouck Lowry and Wesley Rodifer.
