Ms. Sara Jane Simpson, age 81, of Jonesborough, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Arthur Kofoid; sister, Patricia Miley; son, Ronald “Ronnie” Simpson, II.

Sara was a member Westside Christian Church in Jonesborough.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura Grindstaff (Jerry); grandchildren, Ashley Callahan (Josh), LynsayAnn Gibson (Aaron), Justin Delp (Moriah); great-grandchildren, Kaydence Brown (Cameron), Aiden Brown, Maggie Gentry, Sawyer Callahan, Mason & Dylan Callahan, Jacquelyn & Brielle Delp; sister, Mary Ann Morely; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Carl Nagle and Angie Spann.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, prior to the service.
