Throughout his lifetime, Carl owned and operated several businesses including service stations, repair shops, and car washes. He loved his family, enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends-especially mornings with the McDonald’s gang, Thursday mornings with the seniors from church at Bob Evans, and his Homebuilders Sunday School Class taught by Larry Shropshire.

My dad Rod Carter was fishing buddies with Carl. Every year I'd go with Tater & Spud to the Orange & White game. I saw him a few months back at Blue Gills and rehashed all the old Florida fishing stories. A great man that just kept on plugging.
