Mr. Troy Steven Smith, age 54, Limestone, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center.

Mr. Smith was born in Johnson City, Tennessee to the late Banner Ray Smith on September 18, 1969. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Tony Smith.

Mr. Smith was self-employed in the maintenance industry.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Hickman, Limestone; son, Terry Smith; daughter, Stephanie Arnett; step-daughters, Jessica Carpenter (Jamie), Limestone and Crystal Blair (Jamie Oaks), Gray; step-son, Matthew Smith, Limestone; grandchildren, Noah Carpenter, Cameron Blair, Caleb Blair, Jayden Blair, Kaley Smith, Braden Smith, Kingston Carpenter, Zane Smith, Sophia Smith, Ethan Arnett, Eli Arnett, Chloe Arnett and Peyton Arnett; two sisters-in-law, Sandy Terrell and Jan Phillips; and several cousins, nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM Friday prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at New Salem Cemetery.
