Serafina will be missed at the Jonesborough Senior Center. I looked forward to seeing her at the Knit Pickers gatherings. She was so encouraging of others and wanted to share her experience and gifts. She was kind to help me and share yarn for a project.

Joanne, Rita and I watched your mom's funerary service. Your words were a tribute to Sarafina's life of benevolence and generosity. Mathew and the others spoke from their hearts and echoed the spirit of your monologue. Thank you for inviting us to the service.

Serafina's life was about pouring perfume on others mostly through her delicious cooking during most of the half century I was privileged to fellowship with her and family. I'll miss her calling out to me, "Guiseppe, how you doing". Our lord Jesus Christ's words ring out to her also: "These acts of hers will be told in her honor as long as there are people who tell the good news." Mark 14:9 June and I give our deepest sympathies to the family, our longterm friends.

I met Nona through her wonderful daughter, Joanne. Nona was kind, welcoming and always willing to feed you her delicious homemade Italian food!! She enjoyed gardening and crocheting. When JoAnn told Nona our office at work was cold, she crocheted blankets for all 4 nurses.

My deepest condolences to my life long friend Frank, his sister Joanna and the rest of the Marinaccio Family. My fondest memory of Serafina was when she threw birthday party for Frank in their apartment. She was so warm and welcoming. She treated myself and the rest of Frank’s friends like family. May she rest in peace. Phil

She’s going to be missed. I really cared so much for her. She was just like a mother-in-law to me and I’m so sad about this day. She should rest in peace she’s no longer in pain and she’s very happy right now she’s probably with Rose and the talking together so I’ll always be on my mind. Love her so much.
