I heard this sad news- October 15th- as Leslie was kind enough to notice my presence at a Jonesborough establishment. I’m so devastated to have lost such a good friend; and such a hard-working wonderful person -whom I could call -for help anytime- at my farm. My prayers to his family; and many friends…Joe will be missed..

Joe was one in a million. He always had a smile and a story. It truly was amazing to behold his vision and work ethic. He absolutely loved farming. We have learned so much from him about farming, cattle, and a life well lived. We are so thankful to have known him and are blessed to consider him our friend. A single day has not passed where we haven’t thought of Joe. Our hearts go out to his family and friends.

Dear family of Jose Morales, we are saddened to learn of Jose's passing. We met him many years ago when he did lawn service in our neighborhood. Even though he was always so busy he was always stopping by to chat with us. He was one of the nicest people we ever met. May God Bless this kind man and the family he leaves behind.

Joe was one in a million. To say I will miss him is a great understatement. I first met Joe about a year ago thru a family business where he began working on getting our place cleaned up and organized. He so impressed me with his work ethic and skills but Joe became my friend when he started to lease our family farm. He worked so hard getting fences replaced, bush hogging, hay bailed and general upkeep. Many nights it would be pitch dark and we would go to bed but we could still hear him riding his tractor around the farm. He did so much to our property that my wife and I began to dream how good our farm was going to be in appearance and in function - Joe would have been a huge part of that. As a testament to how Joe's life affected others around him, my wife began to cry one night as we walked around looking at all of the work he had already completed. I will miss leaning up against our barn corral fence and just listening to Joe and learning so much about cattle and farming. He always explained things in a way that made sense. Our lives were better when Joe came along and we will never be the same with him gone. To the family just know we are praying for you and mourning for our friend as you try to get through the tough days ahead. We are so thankful for the short time that we had with him and will always remember what a great guy he was and we were proud to call him our friend.

I am so very sad to hear his .We loved Joe, he took care of our yards and landscape for 20 years. We met Amir when he brought him to our home. Joe was kind, funny and the hardest working person. I’m so sorry we didn’t know, we were at the beach last week but got home Saturday. I really wish we could have been there. We will miss you Joe. Thanks for taking such good care of us over the years. I know you were happy to see your Momma. I can only imagine what sights your eyes are beholding.
