Miss Gladys “Toots” Hicks, age 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at The Waters of Johnson City.

Toots was born July 18, 1927, to the late John and Edith Hicks. She was a member of Lone Oak Christian Church. In addition to her parents, Gladys is preceded in death by her sister, Helen “Boots” Starnes (C. Arnold) and a niece-in-law, Michele Garst.

She is survived by niece and caretaker, Rita Garst (Joe); nephews, Johnathan Garst (Angela) and Matthew Garst.

Graveside Service will be at Union Church of Christ Cemetery Monday, February 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM, with Michael Vaughn officiating.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
