Shay was just awesome, I went all through school with her & stayed in touch with her. She was always with a smile on her face. When she worked at Walmart she was always excited to see me and my then toddler (now 30) who loved seeing Shay & if we went & shay wasn’t there my daughter would cry. Shay was one of a kind and I miss her. Rest peacefully my friend you are missed.

So hard to believe you are gone, sorry we had grown so far apart. You were my first best friend, since 2nd grade when we met. Time and Circumstances allowed us to drift apart, but I know you will be walking with the Angels now, and my mother will look after you. My deepest sympathy goes to Bob and Janice for the passing of Shay. But we will meet again Love Christy Crowder

My heart broke when I heard that Shay had passed. She and I were developing a friendship as I enjoyed talking to her daily while visiting my grandmother at Lakebridge. Shay always shared a smile and a laugh with me, even on days when she was not feeling so well. I will miss her smile and her friendly greeting, and I will miss our recap of the Vols games each Monday. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray you are comforted knowing she is with Jesus now. Heaven has gained a valued Angel. Praying for her family and friends.

Janice I am so sorry to hear about Shay. Her smile was always so warm. I remember the story you told us about after moving back to the states from England. She thought the microwave was a "telly" in the kitchen. I think of you both often. My prayers are with you both.
