Mrs. Brenda Polston, age 72, Limestone, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Polston was born in Cedartown, Georgia and the daughter of the late Charlie & Francis Sides Atkins. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Atkins, two grandchildren, Amanda Polston and Holly Polston.
She was a member of Living Word Church of God in Gray.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Polston, Telford; daughter, Cheryl Burton (Erica), Mt. Vernon, IL; two sons, Joey Polston (Amanda) Buena Vista, GA and Elkan Polston (Candy), Telford; grandchildren, Destyni Polston, Kaitlyn Polston, Skylar Shoemaker, Trey Shoemaker, Hayley Smith and Megan Polston; and one brother, Larry Atkins (Mary) Minnesota.
Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 pm Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Living Word Church of God with Pastor Steve Guinn officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30 pm Thursday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at 2:30 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
