Mr. Melvin E. Story, 74, Telford, passed away May 25, 2019 at Franklin Woods Community Hospital.
Melvin, an avid sportsman, was preceded in death by his parents Oliver and Gladys Story, brother Delmer Story, sister Judy Stills, and granddaughter Angel Joy Story.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 54 years, Ruth Story.
Sons: Troy Wayne Story, Mike Story (Debbie), Jamey T Story.
Daughter: Carol Sparks (Danny Tanner).
Grandchildren: Stefany Brewer (Robert), Andy Story (Christina), Joseph Sparks, Angela Sparks, and Erika Story.
Great-grandchildren: Adryan Story, Malachi and Marckis Carrier, Maximus Sparks, Emmy Peterson, and Josie Brewer.
Brothers: Clyde Story (Patsy) and James "Bunny" Story (Nada).
Sisters: Brenda Bailey (Paul), Linda Garland (Clyde), Mary Ann Lerma (Tony), and Patty Artrip (late husband Jerry).
Several nieces, nephews, and special friend James "Jim" Davis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The American Cancer Society.
Celebration of life services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, June 22, 2019 at New Victory Baptist Church Pavilion with Pastor Ken Gaskins officiating.
