Mr. Freddie “Fred” G. Cloyd, age 55, Jonesborough, passed away, Sunday July 1, 2018, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Cloyd was born in Johnson City, Tennessee and the son of the late Herbert and Bonnie Oliver Cloyd.
He was employed at ES Dockery as a commercial ceiling installer.
Survivors include brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Reta Cloyd and Lester and Jean Cloyd, and Donnie Cloyd , sister and brother-in-law Sandra Shelton and Mike Creasy; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to the nursing staff of Johnson City Medical Center for the care they gave to their brother, and to his employer ES Dockery.
Graveside service will be Tuesday July 3, 2018 2:00PM at New Victory Methodist Church Cemetery with Fred’s brother Terry officiating. Pallbearers will be Henry Tweed, Randy McCracken, Bobby Bigham, Mike Creasy, Kenneth “Tex” Garvin and Ricky Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Dana Ramsey, and friends from VFW post 9724. Everyone is asked to meet at the Funeral Home at 1:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.
