Mr. Jack Ray Blair, age 65, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Johnson City Medical Center.
Mr. Blair was born in High Point, NC and son of the late Vaught Brown & Elizabeth Hope Lyons Blair.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Blair retired from TPI Corporation and had worked 28 years at Baxter Healthcare. He loved his family and enjoyed gardening, sports (especially golf & the Vols) and being outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Ford Blair, Jonesborough; daughters, Jacqueline Carle (David), Johnson City, Tereina Duncan (Travis), Carrie Davis (Travis) and Duana Northcote (Van) all of Jonesborough; two brothers, Vaught “Sonny” Blair, Navarre, FL and Lee Blair (Kawana), Watauga; one sister, Sharon Blair Brown (Tom), Florence, SC; grandchildren, Hailey, Rylan, Jaxon, Colton, Savannah, Nathaniel, Damien, Brayden, Trace and Greyson; and several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the ER, Trauma Team, Johnson City Medical Center ICU 2700th floor, Dr. Wiles, Respiratory Department, and very special nurses, Joseph, Juliette, Violet and Krystle for their wonderful care.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Brown, Pastor Craig Ford and Brother Jerry Ford officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Wednesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Vaught Blair, Lee Blair, Craig Blair, Matthew Ford, Anthony Ford and Ben Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
