Mrs. Marie Causey Lones, age 72, Limestone, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Lones was born in Unicoi County and daughter of the late Charles A. & Josie Causey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lones.
She was a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church. She was a good mom, mamaw, sister and sister-in-law.
She was a graduate of Jonesborough High School.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty Jo Lones (Dennis Whitson); grandsons, Christopher Vaughn and Memphis Whitson; three brothers, Charles “Bud” Causey (Virginia), T.J. Causey (Tammy) and James Causey (Carol Ann); and several nephews and nieces; special sister-in-law, Betty Lones; and lots of special friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Cherry Grove Cemetery with Pastor John H. Moore officiating.
Pallbearers will be Mack McNulty III, Jordan King, Mark Reynolds, Devan Payne, Kelly Oaks and Ian Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Lane and Jordan Rollins.
Memorial donations may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
