Mr. Charles Eugene Johnson, age 88, Johnson City, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Appalachian Christian Village.
Mr. Johnson was born in Washington County, Virginia and son of the late Clark Eugene & Mary Catherine Settles Johnson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Johnson and Denver Johnson.
He was a member of Boones Creek Christian Church.
Mr. Johnson was a retired farmer and did survey work for E.B. Fulkerson.
Survivors include his brothers, George H. Johnson and Henry Lee Johnson both Johnson City and a sister, Irene Stills, Jonesborough; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Minister David Clark officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM Wednesday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be family & friends.
