Mrs. Joyce A. “Mimi” Anderson Goodman, age 64, Johnson City, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Mrs. Goodman was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Clarence I. & Lura Mae Black Anderson. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pansy Forrester and Barbara Brewer.
Having been saved and baptized at an early age at Sulpher Springs Baptist Church, she was prepared and ready to be received in the arms of her Savior.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Goodman, Johnson City; children, Kevin Goodman, Kim Shepard (Don) and Krissy Goodman; grandchildren, Hunter Shepard, Zoe Goodman, Cale Goodman, Emma Wiseman, Ethan Wiseman and Selena Nickles; brothers, Carroll Anderson and Ron Anderson; special friends, Brad & Sadie Haws, Eddie & Sharon Rupert, Patsy Gibson and Linda Oliver; and several nephews and nieces.
She loved her grandchildren. She was the best Mimi ever!
The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:30 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
The family would like to send special thanks to her niece, Shannon Letterman, son-in-law, Don Shephard, Meredith Haynes and nurses, Sara and Sorsha.
