Mrs. Patsy Mitchell Castor, age 65, Limestone, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Castor was born in Greene County, TN and daughter of Arlene Bailey Mitchell, Limestone, and the late McKinley Mitchell. She was also preceded in death by step-son, Donald Castor, niece, Carol Robinson and one nephew, Weston Keeton.
She attended Limestone Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Castor was a Developmental Technician at Greene Valley Developmental Center. She enjoyed crafts, painting, sewing, herb garden, bird watching, needle work, poetry, music, singing and playing the piano.
Survivors include her husband, John Castor, Limestone; daughter, Tina Lowe; granddaughter, Hannah Clemons; siblings, Dale Mitchell (Lana), Dwight Mitchell (Debbie), Danny Mitchell (Belinda), Peggy Dickerson (Roger), Pam Keeton (Doug) and Paulette Potter (Danny); step-children, Johnny Castor, Pamela Thompson (Ron), Jonathan Castor, Clark Thompson, Jessie Rigsby (Danny), Shannon Thompson and Matthew Castor; great-granddaughter, Alissa Rigsby; aunt, Margaret Bowers; and several nephews, nieces and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at the Limestone Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Roach and Rev. Maurice Quillen officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 11:30 AM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Urbana Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Keeton, Isaac Mitchell, Ryan Potter, Caleb Dickerson, Clark Thompson Shannon Thompson.
The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Justice, Dr. Frye, Dr. Wilkinson, Dr. Ponder and Dr. Luri, Silver Angels and Amedysis Hospice.
