Mrs. Hazel Gray Booher, age 93, Jonesborough, entered the gates of Heaven March 25, 2014 to join her Savior and loved ones.
Mrs. Booher was a native of Washington County and daughter of the late Richard C. & Dicy Galloway Gray. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Laney Booher, brothers, Oran Gray and Bernice Gray.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Mrs. Booher retired from Eastman Chemical Company.
Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, James Leonard & Joan Gray; nephews, Steven Gray and Bernie Gray; niece, Kathryn Gray Holsclaw; several great nephews and nieces.
The family would like to send special thanks to Mountain States Hospice and Independent Living Solutions for their wonderful loving care.
Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Michael Oaks officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Friday prior to the service.
Interment services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Sulphur Springs Cemetery with Pastor Steve Pate officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bernie Gray, Rick Gray, Brandon Gray, Chad Gray, Ryan Gray and Daniel Owens. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Gray, Robert Holsclaw, Allen Ferguson, Byrd Quillen, Wayne Robbins, Joe Robbins, Dennis Robbins, Gene McNew, members of her Sunday school class, friends and neighbors.
