Mrs. Stella Mae Decker, age 90, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Durham-Hensley Nursing Home.

Mrs. Decker was born in Butler, Tennessee and daughter of the late David Garfield & Cordia Jane Pierce Matherly. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Decker was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Decker, two sisters, Naomi Brown and Lucy Ward and two brothers, Dana Matherly and Robert Matherly.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Mrs. Decker was a Homemaker.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Wallace & Rebecca Decker, Jonesborough; one grandson, Andy Decker, Jonesborough; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, January 11, 2013 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Ponder and Rev. Jamie Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Friday prior to the service. Interment services will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
