Mrs. Ruth Boring Conley, age 90, Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Signature Healtcare of Jamestown, TN.

Mrs. Conley was born in Washington County and daughter of the late Wallace & Effie Atkinson Boring. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Conley was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Dal” Conley, four brothers, Wallace Boring, Neil “Pete” Boring, Thomas “Tom” Boring and John Boring, nieces, Sharon (Boring) Collins & Gail Ann Boring of Maryville and a nephew, Bill Boring of Maryville.

She was a member of Jonesborough First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sue Conley & Mike Ledbetter, Jamestown, TN; nephew, Rod Ward, Jonesborough; nieces, Janice Boring (Wayne) Maryville, Pamela Pope (Dan) Johnson City, Patricia Guthrie (John), Johnson City, Debra Boring, Gray, Amanda Andrews and Laura Collins, both of Maryville.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, October 12, 2012 at Fairview Cemetery with Brother Ron Owens.

Pallbearers will be family & friends.
