Mr. Robert Rose, age 58, Jonesborough passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Mr. Rose was born in Norton, Virginia, the son of Ersel & Jewell Patton Rose, McClure, Virginia.

He attended New Victory United Methodist Church.

Mr. Rose was a Purchasing Material Clerk for CSX Railroad, Erwin.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Randy Rose, Blountville; a sister, Sandra Jones, Bristol; a special niece, Katherine Jones; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Cathy Fowler officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, June 4, 2012 at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, Virginia.

Pallbearers will be members of the Rays of Son Christian Motorcycle Association.
