Mr. Allan F. Bryant, age 87, Plantation, Florida, formerly of Jonesborough, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 in Florida.
Mr. Bryant was born in Marshall, Texas and son of the late James Edward & Mollie Stovall Bryant. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bryant was also preceded in death by a step-son, Dwain Jones and a brother and a sister.
He was a member of McCarty United Methodist Church.
Mr. Bryant retired from Union Pacific Railroad after 42 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Collins Bryant, Plantation, Florida; one son, Glenn Bryant, Tyler, Texas; step-daughters, Eva Mathes, Plantation, FL, Donna Leavitt (Charles), Cape May, New Jersey, Judy Vititoe (Ray), Jonesborough and Brenda Hogan (David), Tyler, Texas; 13 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Garland James officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
