Mr. David H. Walters, age 73, Limestone, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 18, 2012.

He was a native of Washington County and son of the late Clifton and Faye Bright Walters.

Mr. Walters was a farmer and had retired from ITT North Electric and then from Moody Dunbar.

Mr. Walters was of the Church Of God faith.

Survivors include his wife, Henrietta Johnson Walters, one son, David “Buck” Walters, wife, Teresa, one daughter, Mary Walters Street, husband, Dwight, two grandsons, Brandon Walters wife, Carrie Bales and Landon Lane; two great-grandchildren, Caitlynn Bales and Brooklyn Walters; one sister, Peggy Walters; a special niece, Tiffany Walters; a special dog, “Sissy”, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8:00 PM Friday, April 20, 2012 at 8:00 PM at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Brother Howard Painter officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM prior to the service.

Interment will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Seviers Cemetery. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Reaves, Gary Reed, Daryl Broyles, Dwight Street, Bobby Broyles and Don French. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Elliott B. Smith, Dusty Cravens, Alex Finkle, Evan Bales and Robbie Isbell.
