Mrs. Annis M. Bracken, age 92, Jonesborough, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Bracken was a native of Unicoi County and daughter of the late Andy Jack & Janie Silvers Crain. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bracken was also preceded in death by her husband, Luster C. Bracken, two daughters, Infant Dorothy Bracken and Betty Cutshall, one son, Jack Bracken, two brothers, Mitchell Crain and Marvell Morrow and one sister, Ora Sparks.

She attended Chestnut Grove Union Church.

Mrs. Bracken retired from Industrial Garment after 18 years of service.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Helen & Wade Runion, Jonesborough, Mary & Howard Shelton, Chuckey and Elizabeth & Beryl Cavin, Telford; six grandchildren, Steve Bracken (Linda), Donna Smith (Allan), Beth Gobble (Scotty), Matt Runion (Renée), Andy Runion (Jessica) and Michael Cutshall (Carrie); seven great-grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Joe Crain, Jonesborough and France Crain, Erwin.

The family would like to send special thanks to all the nurses at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Funeral services will be conducted 8:00 pm Friday, April 13, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Kilgore officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday prior to the service.

Interment services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Runion, Andy Runion, Steve Bracken, Allan Smith, Scotty Gobble, Ronald Crain, Jimmy Crain and Tommy Crain.
