Mrs. Betty E. Bradley, age 95, Limestone, passed away suddenly Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Mrs. Bradley was born in Laurel Bloomery, TN and daughter of the late David K. & Rebecca Shores South. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bradley was also preceded in death by her husband, William C. Bradley, daughter, Shirley B. Duncan, an infant son, four brothers and four sisters.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and an avid quilter.

Survivors include two daughters, Norma Jean Henley and husband Bill and Sarah Duncan, all of Limestone; two sons, John Bradley and wife Patricia, Johnson City and Gary Bradley and wife Lisa, Limestone; special son-in-law, Norman Duncan, Johnson City; one sister, Carrie Rash, Damascus, VA; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

The family would like to send special thanks to the nurses in the stroke unit of the 4200 floor at Johnson City Medical Center for their wonderful care.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Sugar Grove Cemetery, Butler, TN with Bishop Matthew Barber and Pastor Steven Spell officiating.

Pallbearers will be grandsons & great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holston Home for Children Holston Dr. Greeneville, Tennessee 37743.
