She was brought up in and taught the Baptist faith as a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesborough. Patsy is currently a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Johnson City.

Patsy’s family extend a special appreciation to the Miracles Happen Group, the End of the Road Group, and the Nothing to Fear Narcotics Anonymous Group for all the years of support she received from those who journeyed along with her in her road to recovery. The family also would like to thank Val-U-Pharmacy, Dr. Charles Famoyin and staff, and Caris Healthcare for their excellent service to Patsy as she fought her battle with cancer.

A special thank you goes out to her “sisters in spirit”, Carol Ragan and Jorja Cummings, Johnson City and Retha Ferrell, Rogersville. Patsy cherished always the music shared with her former husband, John “Catfish” McNees.
